Kurt Nimmo Infowars December 4, 2009 Obama and the government are afraid Americans will soon be up in arms over the jobless recovery and the decline in their standard of living. In order to blindside them to the reality of an engineered impoverishment of society a precondition to world government — they routinely cook the figures on unemployment and then feed this to the corporate media. For the first time in two years, the US economy came tantalizingly close to posting a monthly gain in jobs, reports the Christian Science Monitor. Employer payrolls fell by just 11000 workers in November, much less than economists expected, according to a Labor Department report Friday. Also, the unemployment rate fell modestly, from 10.2 to 10 percent. The long-suffering US jobs market improved significantly in November, as employers trimmed the fewest jobs of any month since the start of the recession, and the unemployment rate posted the biggest one-month decline in more than three years, claims CNN. The unemployment rate improved to 10% in the month. Nancy Pelosi said stealing money from future generations has put the nation on the path back to job growth and illustrates that the economic policies of President Obama and the Democratic Congress are starting to work. Pelosi also blamed Obamas predecessor. Todays jobs report is evidence that our recovery efforts are moving our economy in the right direction.
Understanding the ocean — sustaining our future The Kiel Cluster of Excellence „The Future Ocean” pursues an approach to research that is unique in Germany: marine researchers, geologists, economists as well as medical scientists, mathematicians, legal and social scientists are contributing their expertise to investigate ocean and climate change. A total of over 200 scientists from the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel (CAU), the Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel (GEOMAR), the Institute for World Economy (IfW) and the Muthesius University of Fine Arts have joined forces. Future Ocean’s Mission is to use the results of multidisciplinary scientific research on the past and present ocean to predict the future of the Earth’s marine environment. This includes understanding changes to the past, on-going and future ocean as well as the interaction between society and the ocean in regard to marine resources, services and risks. www.futureocean.org The Film about The Future Ocean was produced by aca-de-media for the DFG video portal to make science visible.
The hard facts come from two differant men: -Robert feinman, a futurist who sees an SSE as an unavoidable necessity for the long term (tens/hundreds of thousands years+) survival of humanity. The cold fusion reactors proposed by jeremy (IE, the man who fashions himself as AlienScientist, and who I have communicated with on several occasions) are brilliant, but how long does he want civilisation to last? Will it be 10000 years on our current economic model, with no limits imposed on our wasteful energy and resource consumption, and nothing to curb our base instinct to ‘go forth and multiply?’ Or will it be 100000 years, on a solid state model? That is what the matter essentially comes down to. Choose wisely. robertdfeinman.com -Herman daly, a professional economist who has done the lions share of the work in fleshing out the theory of an SSE, and the man who brought the concept into the spotlight. The SSE is still shunned by politicians, economists, and bankers. Religous institutions (particularly of the judeo christian camp), of course, despise the idea of birth control, not only because they see it as the murder of an unborn human, but because it puts a hard ceiling on how many followers they can aquire. www.theoildrum.com

With Germany looking for reasons not to bail Greece out, it looks more likely that IMF will have to step in. This suggests that the Euro’s problems aren’t going to be solved any time soon. Meanwhile in the US, economists are worrying about a double dip in the housing market causing more problems for the financial sector. Finally, we take a look at Q1 earnings expectations.
